The gunman approached the victim with a gun and grabbed his throat inside the elevator. Despite taking a bag and small package, he only stole the victim's cellphone.
The incident occurred in NYCHA's Wagner Houses in East Harlem. The victim, a 21-year-old man, did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.
