Police looking for teen mom and baby who disappeared from Brooklyn residential program

Police are asking the public to look out for a teenage mother who went missing from a Brooklyn shelter Monday night with her infant son. NYPD officials said 17-year-old Kristina Ortiz left a residential program for young parents on Dean Street near Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights with her 2-month-old son, Colin Ortiz, around 11:30 p.m. She was wearing a black jacket with gray pants, while he was wearing a beige onesie, according to police.

Police say the first incident happened on Sept. 21 at just before 10 p.m. The thief entered the building of a Planet Fitness on 86th Street on Bensonhurst through the roof.
