Robberies are up 15% in the Brooklyn South patrol, and Brooklyn has seen a number of robberies in the last few weeks - on Feb. 3, a 26-year-old man was violently robbed at the Sutter Avenue station in East New York, and a Crown Heights bodega was robbed by two gun-wielding men on Feb. 11.
The suspect, who was wearing a black mask and a sweatshirt with the hood up, walked behind the counter at a shop at the corner of 8th Avenue and 41st Street at 8 p.m. on Feb. 16, cops said.
