Man Dies After Being Held In NYPD Custody At NYC Courthouse
"Hector Sierra, 51, was rushed to the hospital after being found ill at Brooklyn Central Booking, just after 11 a.m. Sunday. He was taken by EMS to NYU Langone Cobble Hill, where he died."
"The NYPD's Force Investigation Division is investigating the death, police said Monday. Sierra was facing several charges in Brooklyn, including tampering with physical evidence, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a controlled substance and trespassing."
