Man, 41, shot to death inside Brooklyn laundromat, second man grazed
A gunman opened fire inside Xpress Laundromat on Utica Ave near Avenue J in Flatlands around 8 a.m. One victim, a 41-year-old man, was mortally wounded with injuries to the chest and stomach and died about half an hour after being taken to Brookdale University Hospital. A second victim, a 68-year-old man, was grazed in the foot and was taken to Mount Sinai Brooklyn, where he is expected to recover. The shooter fled the scene and has not been caught. The shooter was described as wearing all black, including a black mask. Police recovered ballistic evidence from the laundromat while investigating the shooting.
