Long Island driver strikes elderly pedestrian - then drags dying victim to side of road before fleeing: cops

Authorities reported that 74-year-old Jeffrey Frank was struck by a dark-colored SUV while crossing Broadway and was dragged to the roadside by the driver before the motorist fled the scene.

Witnesses described the driver as callous, stating that after hitting Frank, he got out, moved the victim away from traffic, and then sped off.
