The Kingsland Commons project, backed by $235 million in financing, will transform the former Greenpoint Hospital campus into a hub of affordable housing and essential services.
The second phase of Kingsland Commons will include 311 affordable homes targeted at extremely low-income residents and services for formerly homeless individuals and families.
Future phases aim to rehabilitate existing buildings and construct new ones, introducing approximately 557 affordable residences, a health clinic, senior center, and workforce development initiatives.
With the onset of construction, this development marks a significant step toward addressing housing needs and supporting community services in the Greenpoint area.
