"We're excited to see how our visitors capture the essence of Green-Wood," said Harry J. Weil, vice president of Education and Programming at Green-Wood Cemetery. "This photo contest and exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to showcase what the nearly half million people who step through our gates love about the cemetery."
"At Printique, we believe in the power of photography to tell stories and preserve memories," said Gabrielle Grace, social media manager at Printique.
Participants are encouraged to submit images that showcase their perspectives of the landmark and community green space, whether it's a striking monument, a bird frozen mid-flight, a concert in the Catacombs, or the serene beauty of a stroll through the cemetery.
Selected images will be printed by Printique and prominently displayed along Green-Wood's fence this fall, offering the community an outdoor exhibition that celebrates the historic landmark.
