At just after 7:45 a.m. on March 23, FDNY units responded to the fire at 693 Monroe St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Fire Department personnel used four hose lines to knock down the main body of fire.
Fire Department personnel consisting of just over a hundred members used four hose lines to knock down the main body of fire. Residents of the building and neighboring buildings were seen scrambling with a toddler and several dogs from the chaotic scene.
