Felon sentenced to 10 years for possessing ammunition in Brooklyn shooting
Briefly

U.S. Attorney Breon Peace stated, "Today, Oliver has been justly punished for the harm he inflicted upon two people in separate, callous shootings in Brooklyn. Fortunately, these victims survived. My office will continue to work tirelessly with our federal and local law enforcement to reduce gun-related violence in our communities."
During the 2021 shooting incident, Oliver shot a victim in the torso after a sidewalk argument and was later sentenced to 10 years for possessing ammunition.
Justice Irizarry noted Oliver's responsibility for a 2020 convenience store shooting, where he shot a worker in the chest, severely injuring him and rendering him unable to work.
Oliver took steps to destroy evidence after the shootings, deleting images from his phone and disposing of the handgun used in the 2020 shooting.
