Brooklyn residents will have the opportunity to participate in 'Build Our Blocks', a series of hands-on urban planning workshops by F.E.A.S.T. at Jackie Robinson Playground. The program, which starts in April, is geared towards educating and engaging communities, especially youth and families, on topics related to urban planning and development. Participants will collaborate with urban planning experts, including architects and community leaders, to learn about city development and contribute to shaping their neighborhoods. Activities include discussions, community walkshops, and a graduation ceremony for participants.
"Neighborhoods thrive when residents are empowered to imagine and shape their future. 'Build Our Blocks' will not only inspire creativity but also equip participants with the knowledge and connections to make a real impact."
"This four-week initiative aims to introduce Brooklyn residents, particularly youth and families, to urban planning through creative, hands-on activities."
