Elected officials lead 9/11 commemoration in Bensonhurst

Many speakers noted that the sunny skies also reminded them of the clear, crisp morning when the terror attacks unfolded. This brings a poignant reflection of the day.
It is a day which really affects us all very deeply in our hearts and souls. We must never forget the victims, the loved ones who were lost.
They asked the attendees to remember the nearly 2,000 persons who died at their workplaces at the World Trade Center, as well as the first-responders.
We can never allow terrorists to have the opportunity again to do the evil that was done that day.
