An East New York couple have been indicted for allegedly sex trafficking a 15-year-old girl over a month-long period in 2022, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced.
According to prosecutors, the young girl was allegedly approached by Hicks in Harlem on Nov. 20 and told by him, 'you could be working for me' and 'I could put money in your pocket.'
On Dec. 30, 2022, detectives from the Human Trafficking Squad went to the Imperial Hotel in East New York and found the victim inside a room registered to Hicks, according to the DA's office.
