Burglaries in Brooklyn's 88th Precinct, including Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, have risen by 39% this year, with 57 reported cases as of June 23, up from 41 last year.
The victim's stolen MacBook Pro was traced to an address in Bedford-Stuyvesant, but no arrests have been made yet.
While burglaries are up, other major crimes like murder, rape, and robbery have decreased in the precinct.
