FOLK is a cocktail-forward neighborhood bar opening December 11 in Park Slope, Brooklyn, led by Chef Jay Kumar of MICHELIN Bib Gourmand restaurant LORE. The name FOLK reflects the role of community members in giving a place heart and soul. The cocktail menu integrates ingredients like coconut, cherry blossom, miso, chamomile, and jasmine into classic formats. The food menu reimagines familiar dishes with twists such as biryani arancini, tikka pot pie, curry leaf risotto, and naan used as croutons in a Caesar. The concept aims to provide Park Slope residents easy access to high-quality cocktails in a welcoming neighborhood setting.
