The following morning, on October 26, a 56-year-old man was slashed across the neck on Newkirk Avenue, narrowly missing an artery."
"Investigators also tied Head to an alleged break-in that same weekend at a building on New York Avenue, where property was damaged and fires were set in both a basement laundry area and a first-floor trash compactor room. Police identified Head through a wanted flyer circulated after the arson incident. At the time of his arrest, officers recovered a kitchen knife believed to have been used in the slashings."
Odyssey Head, 27, was arraigned on charges including second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault and second-degree arson.
