A 30-year-old man was shot in the abdomen during a confrontation near Lincoln Place and Schenectady Avenue in Crown Heights just before 10:50 a.m. on Feb. 17. The assailant pulled out a firearm during a verbal dispute, shot the victim, then stole the victim's cellphone and fled northbound on Schenectady Avenue toward St. John's Place. EMS transported the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. The 77th Precinct reported the incident. The NYPD released images and video showing a suspect in a red cap and black-hooded jacket and urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
