Brooklyn detectives are on the lookout for a gunman involved in a bodega shooting that injured a 16-year-old boy. The shooting, which took place on January 5 at a grocery store on Sutter Avenue, was captured on video released by the NYPD. This incident is one among eight shootings reported in the area so far this year, prompting police to seek assistance from the public in locating the suspect.
The NYPD released a video on Sunday night of the armed perpetrator behind the attack, which occurred at a grocery store located at 1199 Sutter Ave. in East New York at about 9:25 p.m. on Jan. 5.
The video shows the suspect, clad in a white tracksuit and wearing a black face mask, pointing a gun inside the shop before fleeing.
Cops said he was last seen entering a black Honda Accord that traveled northbound on nearby Crystal Street.
