Maurice Hartridge was charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon on April 13 for his alleged involvement in the death of 37-year-old Daryl Dawkins on April 7.
According to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said, surveillance video obtained by police shows the man swinging at one of the bouncers, after which a scuffle ensued - ending with Hartridge stabbing Dawkins once in the chest.
Darkins - a father-of-three with a fourth child on the way - lived from Pennsylvania, but grew up in Brooklyn. He traveled back and forth to be with his girlfriend, the Daily News reported.
