The 8th Annual Open Desk: Small Business Pop-Up Marketplace by BKLYN Commons on Nov. 14 will empower entrepreneurs through a pitch competition, free legal advice, and MWBE certification resources.
Entrepreneurs at the Shop Small Marketplace will have the opportunity to compete in a pitch competition organized by CAMBA, with a prize pool of $5,000 for winners.
In collaboration with Councilwoman Rita Joseph, BKLYN Commons will host a free legal clinic to aid small business owners in navigating complex entrepreneurship regulations.
The event also includes a Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Certification Prep Clinic, giving essential resources to minority business owners applying for NYC vendor status.
