The Bay Ridge Center celebrated its first anniversary at a new location, allowing for enhanced services for older adults. Founded in 1976, the center relocated from a church basement to a modern facility, significantly increasing its space from 4,000 to 21,000 square feet. Executive Director Todd Fliedner shared that the center has tripled its membership and offers over 90 weekly programs, positioning itself as a leading resource for older adults in Southwest Brooklyn. An anniversary event highlighted the community's support and the center’s achievements over the past year.
