Designers transformed a 200-square-foot concession stand into a moody retail store called BeroÌ to reflect Brooklyn's creative culture. The store offers luxury-style apparel for die-hard Nets fans.
Stacey Walters, director of architecture for TBHCo, aimed to create a shopping experience familiar to Brooklynites by designing a storefront that fits seamlessly with the neighborhood's vibe.
The design elements of BeroÌ, including dimly lit sconces, marble countertops, black limestone floors, and brass finishes, aim to provide an elevated and immersive shopping experience.
"It should feel more like a home, a really cozy, but well-crafted and well-designed space that is immersive," said Stacey Walters, emphasizing paying homage to the surrounding beauty of Barclays Center.
