An affordable housing lottery has opened for 56 apartments in a new almost block long nine-story development at 597 Grand Street in Williamsburg, offering studio, one- and two-bedroom units at various income restrictions and rents.
The development features amenities such as electric vehicle charging, a small cinema, a light interior color scheme with modern finishes, and allows multiple pets. Market-rate units were also available for leasing.
Some units are income-restricted for families earning 80% of the Area Median Income, while others are priced for those earning 130% AMI, ranging from $1,757 to $3,317 per month based on apartment size and income level.
