The St. George route operates roughly every 37 minutes in peak hours and about every 50 minutes off-peak, stopping at Midtown West/Pier 79 and Battery Park City before reaching St. George Terminal. Travel from St. George to Bay Ridge's slip at the American Veterans Memorial near Owl's Head Park takes about 11 minutes, then the ferry continues to Atlantic Avenue/Pier 6 and Pier 11 for connections. Lawmakers, advocates, and community members held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and Council Members Kamillah Hanks and Justin Brannan led advocacy and legislation to restore the service, calling it a major step for development and a faster link to Lower Manhattan.
