A 16-year-old boy tragically lost his life when an e-bike he was riding on was struck by a truck in Brooklyn, police confirmed.
Witnesses reported that the three teens were traveling down Ditmas Avenue when the truck made a right turn and collided with them around 4 p.m.
After the accident, the e-bike was found slid underneath the truck, indicating the severity of the collision. The driver of the truck stayed at the scene.
The 15-year-old who was injured is now stable, while the third teen escaped without injuries. Investigators have not made any arrests yet.
