The Best Boston Drinks of 2024
Briefly

"I haven't been in a cocktail mood of late, so it's mostly been beer and whiskey for me, and I had a Belleflower Heart Trail (New England IPA) at Stars in Hingham one night that equaled nearly anything I've had from Hill Farmstead in Vermont. People definitely need to seek out beers from this mostly unknown brewery in Portland, ME." - Marc Hurwitz, founder of Boston's Hidden Restaurants.
"It would be so easy to choose the Hojicha (a smoky, frisky whiskey highball with tea, honey, and Topo Chico) at Merai or the Pomodoro martini (it comes with a side of pickles in a fancy little dish!) at La Padrona, both of which are extremely in my wheelhouse. But I'll say the Zurito + Me at, obviously, Zurito. I do not love bananas or banana-flavored things, nor am I a regular espresso martini drinker, but this drink combines both plus salted foam and totally won me over." - Devra First, restaurant critic for the Boston Globe.
"The Dill & Juniper cocktail at Kaia. It was sublimely tart and briney, but the juniper gave it a real complexity, beyond it just being a 'pickle martini.'" - Tanya Edwards, freelance writer and Eater Boston contributor.
"Oh, this is a tough one. I would probably say anything I've tried at Comfort Kitchen or Merai or Moon Bar." - Brian Samuels, Boston food photographer.
