U.S. sellers listing homes in the first two weeks of June sold for 2.3% more in 2023, an average of $7,700 extra per sale.
Spring and summer months show 0.5% to 1% sales price increase, while prices drop about 2% during winter months, according to Zillow.
"In many major cities, spring and summer will likely be the best times to list your homes for sale to maximize on exposure and the buyer pool," says Nicole Beauchamp.
