Redbones in Somerville will be sold after decades of same ownership
Briefly

Redbones barbecue restaurant in Somerville is under new ownership, CRG Redbones LLC. The owners intend to maintain its identity while reviving its pre-pandemic reputation for hospitality and service. Upcoming changes include extended hours and building updates. Redbones will now operate until 12:30 a.m. on weekends and until 10:30 p.m. on weekdays. They plan to reintroduce the catering program and ensure Underbones remains unchanged for now. Despite earlier indications of a potential franchise model, there are no immediate plans for franchising or redevelopment.
"Our goal is to bring the restaurant back to the version so many in the community remember fondly: pre-pandemic standards of hospitality, excellence in service, a reinvigorated beverage program, and a refreshed culinary approach that honors its roots while elevating the experience."
New ownership is extending the restaurant's hours, keeping Redbones open until 12:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday and until 10:30 p.m. on Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday.
