One of the Boston area's hottest new bakeries was tapped to send hundreds of chocolates to a celebrity-studded Oscars event this past weekend.Chef Thiago Silva, the owner of Salt Patisserie in Newton Centre, sent over 600 gold-tinted bonbons to the Gold Party, Jay-Z's annual Oscars bash that takes place after the awards ceremony, according to a behind-the-scenes video that the chef posted on Instagram.
