Wil Myers Ends Playing Career
Briefly

"I had a great career. I loved what I did. I made a lot of great friends. I have no regrets," Myers said, reflecting on his journey.
"If you had told me the day I was drafted that this would be your career, I would've taken it in a heartbeat. I loved what I did, and now it's just kind of onto the next chapter of life."
Myers concluded his career with 1100 games played, hitting .252/.326/.437 with 156 home runs, marking a significant achievement in his 11 seasons.
"...the Royals sent Myers, Jake Odorizzi, Mike Montgomery, and third-base prospect Patrick Leonard to Tampa Bay in exchange for James Shields... the decision paid off - K.C. won the AL pennant in both 2014 and 2015."
