Walker Buehler reveals why he left Dodgers for Red Sox
Briefly

After concluding the 2024 season, the Boston Red Sox made significant roster changes aimed at enhancing their playoff chances for 2025. The team acquired starting pitchers Garrett Crochet and Walker Buehler, as well as All-Star 3rd baseman Alex Bregman. Crochet is known for his powerful pitching, while Buehler, a former Dodgers player with World Series experience, is looking to regain form after Tommy John surgery. The excitement surrounding these additions is high, with management optimistic about their potential impact for the upcoming season.
It's been exciting for me to be around a new group of guys and new coaches and see how they prepare. There wasn't anything about LA that I disliked. But given the way I struggled last season, then have a cherry on top, it seemed like as good a time as any to take the next step.
We saw in the postseason last year an uptick in stuff and some indicators that Walker continues to get better. So we're excited to have him as part of our group moving forward.
