Triston Casas doesn't 'fault' Red Sox for potentially offering him in trades to improve roster
Briefly

Triston Casas, the Boston Red Sox first baseman, has been mentioned in trade rumors throughout the offseason but holds no resentment. He understands the team's need for pitching help and supports the front office's decisions. Despite reports suggesting he could be traded, Chief Baseball Officer Craig Breslow assured fans that Casas would be integral to the team going forward. Notably, Casas aims to enhance his hitting against left-handed pitchers ahead of the 2025 season, indicating he sees his development as a continual process.
I don't fault anybody for throwing my name out there or trying to bolster this roster in any way, shape, and form.
We're not trading Triston and we view him as a guy that can hit in the middle of the lineup for a really long time here in Boston.
I think it’s a work in progress, but so are my at-bats against righties.
