It was odd, to say the least, but not completely out of character for the night. After all, many Sox fans cheered and gave a standing ovation when the Angels took the lead in the seventh inning.
Given the way they've played, do they even have a right to be [offended]? I understand where they're coming from, why they're frustrated.
It's been a long season, White Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi said. I think that people here tonight were maybe trying to see how the season ends.
