Phillies Outright Dylan Covey
Briefly

The Phillies have reinstated right-hander Dylan Covey from the 60-day IL and outrighted him to Triple-A Lehigh Valley after he cleared waivers.
Despite posting lackluster results, Covey's transition to the bullpen last season showcased potential, with a 3.77 ERA in 43 innings across two teams.
Covey has the right to reject his outright assignment, but doing so would lead him to forfeit his remaining $850K salary.
If Covey isn't added back to the major league roster this season, he will qualify for free agency at the end of the year.
