I'm not sure where that's coming from. Casas is a guy that we think has 40-home run potential. He's young and also has a great strike zone discipline and controls an at-bat. We're excited he's on our team.
A healthy Casas is truly special. Remember he was competitive in the Rookie of the Year race in 2023 before getting hurt down the stretch. And we saw a few good runs from him in 2024. Health and power!
Which also means Devers stays at third base...unless there's a DH opening but they really don't want to move him there this soon in his career/contract.
