Thaddeus Ward, a former prospect who struggled in the majors, has been outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk by the Orioles, after being claimed just a month ago.
Ward was once a notable prospect and had a strong showing in 2019 with a 2.14 ERA. The Orioles aim to restore his previous form.
