Red Sox shortstop Trevor Story had season-ending shoulder surgery on Friday after dislocating his shoulder and fracturing his glenoid a week earlier during a game against the Los Angeles Angels.
The surgery, performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, included an open reduction and internal fixation of the fracture of the glenoid rim, addressing the injuries sustained by Story.
