A Coral Gables firm is planning apartments and a rooftop spot at Florida landmark
Briefly

Developers are planning to convert a former city hall site in Bradenton into a seven-story luxury apartment building containing nearly 400 units. Approved by the Community Redevelopment Agency, the mixed-use project will feature a total of 367 apartments, retail space, and a rooftop restaurant. The endeavor, spearheaded by Allen Morris Co., will not only modernize the area but is also projected to create over 100 new jobs. Construction is slated to start in 2026, with completion expected by 2028, enhancing Bradenton's urban landscape with public amenities.
The project will feature an acclaimed local restaurant overlooking the water, a new dock with kayak and paddleboard rentals, and a boardwalk connecting Wares Creek.
Coral Gables-based Allen Morris Co. plans to spend $130 million to redevelop the 3.7-acre parcel currently owned by Manatee County.
The City of Bradenton's Community Redevelopment Agency Board unanimously supported the idea, moving the application forward to create a detailed contract.
The upcoming project, mini luxury apartments with nearly 400 units, is estimated to bring over 100 jobs to the area.
