"I would not have this opportunity without his help, his support, his friendship," Sirott told reporters during his introductory press conference on Thursday. "Jack was original. Jack loved his Bruins. He brought that passion to every single game, and he's going to be missed."
"When I think about Brick, what separates him and what makes him one of the premier NHL television analysts is there are so few guys that can see the game at that high a level," Sirott said. "What really separates him is his ability to easily, clearly and quickly tell you that during the course of a broadcast."
