Fraser Minten, a 21-year-old Vancouver native, scored two goals including an overtime winner with 18.8 seconds remaining to lift the Boston Bruins to a 3-2 victory in Vancouver. Minten skated the game in front of over 50 friends and family at Rogers Arena, marking a memorable homecoming. The center has eight goals and 17 points in 42 games this season while averaging 14:44 of ice time. He was acquired from Toronto in the Brandon Carlo trade last March and is making the most of his first full NHL season. Boston continues to rely on core stars while increasing responsibilities for younger contributors as part of its retooling.
