Elliott Groenewold, a hard-nosed defenseman, was selected by the Bruins for his high-pace, high-aggression style of play from the USHL's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
Groenewold, expected to attend Quinnipiac University next season, offers defensive reliability and the ability to handle opposing skaters on the ice.
