Bruins' Jim Montgomery Has Clear Message For Fabian Lysell
Briefly

"He needs to do a little more than he's done if he wants to make the Bruins," Montgomery told reporters after pregame skate at Warrior Ice Arena on Tuesday, per team-provided video. "That would be the case for most people that played (Sunday) night."
Both Bruins player development coordinator Adam McQuaid and Providence coach Ryan Mougenel said in July's development camp that they believe Lysell has taken huge steps in his development and could make a "push" for an NHL job.
Lysell is expected to be a candidate for the Boston roster, but the 21-year-old forward failed to register a shot on goal in 14:56 minutes of ice time in the Bruins preseason loss to the New York Rangers on Sunday.
