Deputies responded to the report at 10:26 p.m. When a patrol sergeant arrived, the man initially appeared unresponsive, according to the statement. Authorities soon determined he was a 'violent fugitive' from Lawrence who had an active warrant for homicide."

Jean Michael Warner Delgado, 20, was arrested in Baldwin, Maine on Saturday night after deputies responded to a welfare check on a vehicle. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Delgado was a violent fugitive with an active homicide warrant from Lawrence, Massachusetts. Delgado is charged with murder and carrying a firearm without a license in connection with the September 13 shooting death of Hugo Delrosario, 27, in Lawrence. He was taken into custody on the outstanding Massachusetts warrant and held at Cumberland County Jail pending extradition. Upon return to Massachusetts, Delgado will be arraigned on the charges.
