Former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg was sentenced to five months in jail after multiple counts of perjury. The sentence was part of a plea deal with the Manhattan DA.
The sentencing by Justice Laurie Peterson was essentially a formality following the agreement reached between Weisselberg and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
