Boston police are seeking help in identifying a suspect involved in a purse theft during the Allston-Brighton Toy Drive at Corrib Pub. The incident occurred on Sunday around 6:15 p.m.
The woman stolen from is said to have lost a purse containing a Coach wallet and personal identification. The suspect was seen rifling through others' belongings.
Photos released by the police show the suspect wearing a blue jacket alongside a 'Merry Christmas' gift bag. She was also noted for wearing a black-and-white face mask.
The Boston police urge anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity to contact detectives. Tips can be given anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
