A man identified as Paul DeMoura, 57, was found by an off-duty police officer on Route 44 in Dighton, Mass., after the officer noticed an object in the breakdown lane that turned out to be the man.
DeMoura was rushed to Morton Hospital but was pronounced dead. Police are seeking information on a possible Toyota involved in the hit-and-run, urging anyone with details to contact Dighton Police.
