Former State Police lieutenant from New Jersey will lead Mass. State Police, Healey announces

Governor Maura Healey has selected Geoffery Noble as the new Colonel of the Massachusetts State Police, citing his admirable work in New Jersey.

Noble expressed his commitment to lead the State Police with transparency and accessibility, stating, 'the state police deserve an accessible, transparent and committed leader.'

Interim Colonel Jack Mawn emphasized the collective support for Noble's leadership, saying, 'In this moment when the Department's success is so closely linked to Geoff Noble's success... I will do everything I can to support him.'
