The MSPCA-Angell will waive adoption fees for around 40 black cats during the event 'Purranormal Cativity', which aims to find homes for animals.
'In order to do that, we need to find homes now for some of the cats that tend to stay in our shelters longer,' says Mike Keiley.
This adoption event, taking place from Oct. 1 - 4, also includes older cats and those with specific medical or behavioral needs.
The event is being held at all four MSPCA-Angell centers to assist animals displaced by Hurricane Helene, with a goal to increase adoptions.
