Police stopped a vehicle near 653 Blue Hill Ave. around 12:40 a.m. after an initial query near Columbia Road. Four people were inside. The front passenger concealed his face with a ski mask while guarding a fanny pack. Officers ordered the occupants out and searched the fanny pack, recovering a large hunting knife. A second fanny pack inside the vehicle contained a ghost gun loaded with 18 rounds of ammunition. Officers also recovered a plastic bag with a substance believed to be cocaine. A 16-year-old from Taunton was arrested at the scene. Police also arrested Jacqueline Rose Botelho, 18, after finding a loaded Smith & Wesson SD40VE firearm concealed in her undergarments with 11 rounds. During booking, two more plastic bags containing suspected cocaine were found in one suspect’s socks. Both were charged with multiple firearm and drug offenses and arraigned in Dorchester Division of Boston Municipal Court.
"Both Botelho and the 16-year-old are charged with carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, possession of a large capacity feeding device, and possession of Class B drugs. They were arraigned in the Dorchester Division of the Boston Municipal Court. Court records show Botelho pleaded not guilty to all"
