An 11-year-old child was among five people injured during a Wednesday night shooting in Dorchester, according to Boston police.
Officers found five people with gunshot wounds, including an 11-year-old child, in a shooting incident on Greenwood St., leading to non-life-threatening injuries for all.
"On a summer night like this, we want to make sure that every single street in every community, every part of our city should be enjoyable," Mayor Michelle Wu expressed concern at the press conference.
Boston police are seeking information from the community and reiterated the importance of citizen cooperation in solving such incidents through anonymous tips.
